Term One
Science
Year 4 have enjoyed creating Buzz Wire games in Science to test how different components create a circuit. They used their understanding of a series circuit to build their own switches using metal wire, electrical tape, a battery and a buzzer. We especially loved testing each other’s games!
Art
Year 4’s Amazing Art Day!
Year 4 loved creating our wax resist drawings using different shading techniques, like cross-hatching, to create patterns and contrast. Firstly, we used collage to create our own designs using different mixed-media. We then created a wax-resit background using crayon, paint and soap and scratched off our drawings. We loved seeing the different colours reveal themselves.
